Summary

President [Obama]'s election alone went a long way toward advancing his agenda. His election was the first much needed step toward reinstating our country's reputation as the bastion of democracy globally. The United States of America is the most powerful country, economically and militarily, in the world. As a result these same societies are required to develop a high degree of tolerance of different cultures, languages and religions within its own order. A lack of tolerance leads to intolerance and then exclusion of people that don't meet the social norms of a given society.
