Across San Antonio about 200,000 children are qualified for dental care through Medicaid or CHIP, but most dental clinics don't accept this type of insurance. Texas Smiles is one of a few dental clinics that will accept Medicaid which makes it unique.

The Texas Smiles Dental Center will be hosting another event at the end of the month, continuing with more dental care events relatively often. "This new dental center is a real first class investment, and we have to promote it in our community and around this neighborhood" said House Representative Jose Menendez.
