Entering the UIL Class 5A Region IV area round, there were five San Antonio softball teams still alive in dreams of a state high school title. Unfortunately for three others, their seasons are complete. Among the teams that wonthe bi-district round were the O'Connor Lady Panthers, Clark Lady Cougars, Brandeis Lady Broncos, Taft Raiders and the Southwest Lady Dragons.
