Summary


"I had the opportunity to sit right here, right before the students went up on this stage," said Principal of Summer High School Cynthia Evans. "To see their facial expressions knowing that the students are so proud of themselves and have reached this point and are completing that next step in their life was the best part of it."

"I have been striving for this situation, this moment for a long time," beamed former student of Adult and Community Education GED Program Gregory Collier. "My reason for graduating was to show myself that I could still do everything that I could do before I lost my eyesight."

"After graduation, I plan on continuing my education by attending St. Philips College to further my career as a desktop support specialist," said the joyful Collier. "So that I can give my kids the guidelines that no matter what you go through in life, you always can get it done."
