Summary

"It's incredible, and I'm honored just with the group of guys I'm going in with," said [Jesse James Leija]. "[Avery Johnson], Mr. [DW Rutledge], [Cody Carlson], [Henry Cisneros]."

Avery Johnson, known to fans as the "Little General," is the Spurs all-time leader in assists and was a key part of winning the NBA championship in 1999. So, it was fitting that 10 years later, the "Little General" would be inducted into the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame.

"It's a big time honor," said Johnson. "Whenever you have a chance to go into the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame and follow in the footsteps of David Robinson, Sean Elliot, and now I'm going in with Jesse James Leija."
