Summary


Emilio and Genaro Aguilar were the two front men for Los Aguilares, who were also known as "Los Redondos Hermanos de Piedra" and "The Gray Foxes."

When asked if this meant that the Los Aguilares 50th Anniversary Dance scheduled for Friday, January 15, 2010 would be cancelled, Emilio' s son, [Miguel Angel Jr.] said, "My dad started the 'anniversary shows.'"

Twenty years ago, when I asked Genaro where they would like to be in the early 21st century, he said, "The only thing holding us back is our own businesses. If we weren't so obligated to our professions, God knows where we'd be. And as far as I'm concerned, I'd like to keep on playing until I'm 70. It's hard to do two things right, but we've managed to have the best of both worlds."
