"In the middle of April of this year, my three-year-old daughter Cesly began to complain of leg pains and she ran a temperature. When we first took her to the hospital, nothing abnormal was found. She continued to complain of leg pain and weeks later I began to notice small red points on the skin around her chest and abdomen. The doctor ordered blood test and that's when we received the terrible diagnosis-cancer, it was leukemia. I felt as though the world crumbled around me, but I decided to fight this battle with the support of my family and all my trust and faith in God, to help save Cesly's life." So narrated Fanny Robles, Cesly Roble's mother, the story that began nearly two months ago, and that has transformed her family.
