"We are adding a new component when we build on the aerospace industry in the city," [Bruce E. Miller] continued. "What we are really doing is including international rail and air into a system that works with that. As of now, we are the end of the supply chain. For the first time, we are opening the door for all that comes in and out of San Antonio."

"Port [Lazaro Cardenas] is a backup plan since 2002. For certain customers, using that sight may be cheaper or not much of a difference, but H-E-B is already using that and it works," Miller expounded. "This is a choice for businesses in San Antonio."

"St. Philip's has been here making sure that our students develop new skill sets to keep up," said Dr. Adena Williams Loston, president of St. Philip's College, as she echoed Miller's sentiment. "That makes them attractive and employable for that industry that exists here. If you have Port San Antonio, we need a very strong aerospace program and that is what we have here on the southwest campus."
