"A soldier comes out of Iraq and has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or even an undiagnosed brain injury and they are not getting looked at," pointed out Lt. General [Claudia Kennedy]. "They say 60 percent have PTSD, but I think that is underestimated because of the trauma of being in combat for so many years without a firm withdrawal date.

"When we talk about 60 days, we talk about combat brigades coming back at the rate of two brigades within that time," said the Lt. General. "This will not be something abrupt and immediate. It will begin right away, but it will take months to do. This also has to do with mission of the U.S. Military. [Hillary Clinton] has said that we will not keep soldiers there as referees."

"Rebuilding our international reputation is the most important thing she can do in the world," said Lt. Gen. Kennedy. "Most of America now understands that one country cannot do something of this scale alone. Sen. Clinton has said that she wants to set up a regional stabilizing group around Iraq to act as key allies in the Middle East."
