Leading CCRI in its mission is inaugural director Dr. Sharon Murphy; M.D. Murphy was the former chief of the division of hematology/oncology at Children's Memorial Hospital and professor of pediatrics at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. She was chair of the Pediatric Oncology Group from 1993 to 2001. She has also authored more than 220 original articles, reviews and chapters, and has been recognized by Woodward and White Inc.'s Best Doctors in America."With Murphy and [Francisco G.
